TipDrop, The New Twitter?
I love TipDrop! I generally don’t like social media like Twitter, Facebook, etc. but TipDrop is the exception.
You know where on Twitter you can leave quick comments and stuff. The problem is that people go off topic and your helpful tweet becomes a free for all.
Well, on TipDrop things are different. You can create a tip sheet for any subject you want and other people can then add to those tips, keeping everything on subject. There is also a cool rating system (credibility) where you can vote for you favorite tip and the tips are then displayed based on credibility.
And how would you like to earn some money from TipDrop? The guys at TipDrop is sharing 75% of their adsense revenue generated from your tip sheets with you! How is that for encouragement to write some tips!
Check it out here. It is brilliant!
Blogging To The Bank 3.0 Review
![]() |
Blogging To The Bank by Rob Benwell has been around for 3 years now and the latest version – 3.0 has been released. Version 1 was excellent, as it introduced the concept of making money with blogs. Version 2 was a decent update on the techniques to use.
Version 3?
Well, if feels a bit flat. While it does have its place and it will benefit certain people, it does not live up to the hype on the sales page.
However, there is something about Blogging To The Bank 3.0 which I think is brilliant. Go to the red section at the bottom if you want to skip the review.
Read below for a more in-depth review and to find out if you will benefit from Blogging To The Bank 3.0
The Blogging To The Bank 3.0 concept is simple: it teaches you how to set up a blog and make money from it. However, as most people have found out it is not as easy as it sounds.
What is the best way to set up a blog, how do you create content for it, how do you monetize it, how do you get more visitors? Blogging To The Bank addresses all these questions, but so do a lot of free websites (including this one
).
The guide consists of 10 main steps to create your blog and make money from it:
-
Market Research & Keyphrase Lists
-
Domains & Hosting
-
Creating Your Blog
-
Optimizing Your Blog
-
Content
-
Promotion & Backlinks
-
Advanced SEO Techniques
-
Web 2.0 Strategies
-
Outsourcing & Building Your Blog Empire
- Selling Your Blog
Most of these techniques have been around for a while and are well known if you have already tried to start a blog. The only place where you might pick up a few tips are in the traffic generation sections.
Rob also included a few other tips, mainly on how to get a bunch of backlinks which should hopefully increase your search engine rankings and get you more visitors.
Good Points
If you want to create a blog to make money and are a newbie (beginner), this guide will give you a good basic understanding on how to create your blog. It shows you step by step what to do and even includes a few advanced (but easy to follow) tips.
Bad Points
The information is just too basic. It might cater for somebody new to the blogging world – and I really mean NEW! The sales page makes it sound like the be all and end all of blogging, but that is not true. Following the steps will give you a basic blog that gets some visitors and makes a bit of money, but there are so many more things you can do to increase your visitors and earnings.
Bonuses
While Blogging To The Bank 3.0 comes with the normal raft of bonuses, only two are really worthwhile – the Article Assistance and Blog Announcer Pro software. Everything else is either outdated or ineffective. In fact, it is probably worth it to buy Blogging To The Bank just to get the software!
Conclusion
Blogging To The Bank 3.0 is a decent basic step by step guide on how to set up an income generating blog. However, it is not the holy grail and there are a lot of holes in the guide.
However, because it is so inexpensive I will recommend it to the following two groups of people:
- People with no blogging experience who wants the basic steps to set up and earn some money from a blog.
- People who want the software (Article Assistance and Blog Announcer Pro) to help with traffic generation.
I think the main reason Blogging To The Bank 3.0 has been released is because Rob Benwell is starting a membership site where he will create a six figure blog and as a member you can look over his shoulder and see exactly what he is doing. Brilliant to replicate in your own market.
This membership upsell is available after you have purchased Blogging To The Bank 3.0 as a one time offer and well worth the money. For people with some experience blogging who wants to take their earnings to the next level this is an absolute must!
